Tomorrow Gone

Tomorrow Gone

A flower wilts

The sun sets

Darkness comes

Place your bets

A child cries

A rattle falls

Time has stopped

Battle calls

 Feel the cold

Fear the past

Mind your path

It’s the last

Silence here

All alone

Machines stop

Man at home

Winter snow

Buried dreams

Open ground

Heartache screams

Walls of stone

Smells of old

Stories gone

Never told
